What is Japiculture Magazine?

Japi Culture is a magazine for humanitarian publication cause.

We generate our content by featuring individuals or groups that have a positive impact to the world’s community regardless being on large or small scale.

We at JAPICULTURE represent the Culture of Happiness and a Concept of Japi.

WHY WAS IT ESTABLISHED

The inspiration of Japiculture Magazine was to honor the legacy of EDWARD JAPI (RIP) a well know Zambian Cinematographer and Photographer who died at the age of 27 on July 31,2019.

Showing no signs of prior illness Japi’s sudden death deeply impacted the community as he served as a beacon of hope and inspiration for others to go for their dreams.

Unbeknownst to him, Japi was on the path to fatherhood as his girlfriend had found she was expecting his first child.

In efforts to provide support to Japi’s child the creators of this magazine, Schaffin Mweemba and Lameck Goma made the decision to begin a college fund using the percentage of proceeds from donations, purchases, and subscriptions of this magazine.

The ultimate goal is to provide a form of financial support to impact a child’s future. Education in Zambia isn’t free but for some is where dreams become true.

WHAT IS OUR MISSION

Our mission as Japiculture magazine is not only to raise a college fund for Japi’s son but also to help other children that have little or no access to good education in Zambia.

We have partnered with an orphanages in Zambia called Chisomo Drop-In Center where will have been donated food and school supplies.
